This is a two-part course - the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Become a better public speaker and get really good at demonstrating skills.


You will learn:

  • Standard PADI IDC Course

  • Free Enriched Air Diver & Emergency Oxygen Provider Specialty Instructor training

  • Equipment basic maintenance

  • Tank refilling and principle of gas blending

  • Introduction to Technical Diving


  1. Min.18 years old

  2. PADI Divemaster (or equivalent)

  3. 60 dive logs with proof of underwater navigation, night dive and deep dive experienceFor non-PADI Divemasters, must complete a PADI Divemaster Course Rescue Assessment

  4. Become a certified Diver for at least last 6 months

  5. EFR trained within last 24 months (Or equivalent certification by other agencies)

  6. Submit a medical statement signed by your doctor within one year


Course duration: 15 days

Class location: Taipei City & Longdong Bay, Northeast Coast

Cost: NT 65,000.



  • The fee includes: 4 pool trainings, 4 open water trainings, air tanks, instruction fees only.

  • Does not include: gear rental, PADI's instructor candidate learning materials, all the application fees, instructor exam fee, transportation, accommodation, meals and other personal expenses. 

  • In order to meet the prerequisites for enrolling with PADI's instructor exam, instructor candidate is required to be EFR instructor certified.  Enquiry us for Emergency First Responder instructor course.

  • If relocation training is required, the cost is extra.

  • Course schedule can be arranged in coordination with our instructor development team.
